Partnering for Literacy
The Mission of BK Royston Foundation is to provide an opportunity and access to literacy materials, training and publishing scholarship for people and youth that are a member of the under-served and under-represented populations regardless of the race, creed, ethnicity, gender and economically disadvantaged
BK Royston Foundation Inc. is a 501(c) (3) income tax exempt organization and available to accept donations under IRC Code 170. BK Royston Foundation Inc. was established with the mission to provide scholarships for those with a compelling and riveting story to convey but unable to the meet the financial obligations of the publishing process. Secondly, there are school that are designated Title 1 Schools with populations that would benefit from diverse books, writing workshops and publishing opportunities for their students but have budget constraints.
One of the major programs that BK Royston Foundation will be providing is Books, Backpacks and Masks for qualifying schools, individuals and communities as well as partner with other non-profit organizations to be better service this community.

Books and Backpacks
BK Royston Foundation is pleased to announce and accept donations for their Books and Backpacks program for students and youth who would benefit greatly from diverse books and stories from characters that look and are like them. Unfortunately, the income and financial status of their family does not enable them to purchase books for their enrichment and enjoyment. BK Royston is positioning itself to provide that service in conjunction and partnership with the School Systems and other Non-Profit Organizations that service this under-represented and under-served populations. Congratulations to the 1st Recipient of the Jean Walker Royston Scholarship
Shamara S. Zephir Scholarships BK Royston Foundation is committed to first, providing scholarships for those who are pursuing levels of higher education. In remembrance of Mrs. Jean Ann Walker Royston, the first of many scholarships will be giving to Nursing Students attending HBCU Schools. Secondly, BK Royston Foundation is commited to publishing the voices that have a transformational story to tell but remains left unheard because of financial hardship.
